A cohort-based Programme designed to bridge Israeli healthcare innovation with the UK’s healthcare ecosystem, creating impactful, collaborative partnerships that address some of the sector’s most urgent needs. For this inaugural cohort, we are focusing on Mental Health startups in healthcare, supporting technologies that hold the potential to revolutionise healthcare delivery in the UK.
Building on the success of the 2020 Dangoor Healthtech Challenge, this initiative aims to deepen collaborations and drive innovation in NHS’s national priority areas.
Our goal is to achieve more health-tech validation studies and/or trials taking place in the UK with UK design partners.
Each year, up to two cohorts participate in this targeted Programme, each focused on a specific healthcare vertical. This approach ensures startups gain insights and solutions tailored to the UK’s evolving healthcare landscape.
The academy begins with eight weeks of in-depth educational sessions, blending online learning with in-person workshops in Israel. Participants gain critical knowledge about the UK healthcare system, build strategic connections, and receive tailored mentorship from experts across Israel and the UK.
After completing the educational phase, participants will embark on a 3-day delegation trip to the UK. This immersive experience includes site visits to NHS facilities and private healthcare organisation, where startups can build partnerships, learn from local leaders, and showcase their innovative solutions.
Our Programme includes a distinguished faculty of British and Israeli healthcare, mental health and technology leaders. These experts provide valuable insights, hands-on mentorship, and networking opportunities, guiding startups on navigating the UK healthcare market and unlocking partnership potential.
