The UK-Israel Women Leading Innovation (WLI) initiative was founded by the British Embassy Israel in May 2020 to promote women in the tech industry in both the UK and Israel.
Drawing on the initiatives, knowledge, expertise and talent existing in both countries, this programme aims to build a sustainable network of UK and Israeli women in innovation and professionals advocating for women. Through specially curated online networking events, mentoring programmes, webinars, P2P matchmaking and B2B pitching with UK corporates.
It has attracted 400+ leading innovation professionals, tech entrepreneurs, R&D specialists and venture capitalists in both countries:

By utilizing the British Embassy’s unique position as the bridge between the UK & Israel, as well as building on the evolving needs for women in tech in both countries. The UK Israel Tech Hub, in collaboration with the Department for International Trade (DIT), Science and Innovation Network (SIN) and the British Council, has launched the UK-Israel Women Leading Innovation.
